Description
Size: 10ft 6in x 4ft 8in (320 x 142cm).A very good Antique Kurdish long rug or kelleh, with a finely drawn all over shrub design and superb ivory ground border.
Circa 1900.
A superb example of Kurdish village weaving, very fine detail and subtle colours. The ivory border contrasts well with the deep indigo blue field colour.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
