Size: 9ft 11in x 7ft 5in (300 x 225cm).Old carpet with tribal design, Shiraz region, probably by settled weavers from the Khamseh or Qashqai tribe.
Circa 1920
A good carpet with large single medallion, the carpet contains many tribal design elements. The carpet has excellent soft wool and a very pleasing colour palette.
Very good condition with very slight even wear and good pile. The wool is very soft and glossy.
Hand washed and ready for use.
An excellent furnishing carpet suitable for normal domestic use.
