Antique Anatolian Kirsehir village prayer rug of traditional design.Size: 5ft 1in x 3ft 3in (155 x 100cm).
Circa 1920.
The rug is of traditional village prayer design with the central panel in deep red, the upper and lower central panels are filled with carnation flowers. The main border is of a star design.
A wide range of colours including soft blues, red and yellows.
Superb condition, even wear and medium pile.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
