Description
Size: 10ft 8in x 7ft 5in (325 x 226cm).Antique Tekke Turkmen main carpet with 4 rows of 12 guls.
Circa 1870.
The carpet has a soft red ground colour, the guls are large and round. The border is of the Turkmen octagon design.
The carpet is in excellent condition with slight even wear with good pile.
Both ends retain the original large elem panel end finishes.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
