Description
Size:10ft 6in x 6ft 7in (320 x 200cm).Old Persian Isfahan carpet, wool and silk on a very fine silk foundation.
About 40 years old.
The carpet is of very fine weave with tight fine pile of lambs wool with silk high lights. The carpet has a velvet like feel.
The carpet has a floral design around a central medallion and has amazing detail, it is an outstanding example of type. This is a carpet of the highest quality that would grace any room.
The colours are superb, with an ivory ground with the design in beautiful clear colours. The deep indigo border contrasts well with the ivory ground.
The carpet is in excellent condition with no wear and full pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
