Circa 1880.
A superb example of a Caucasian Kuba rug, the yellow ground is covered with a finely drawn repeat design. The border designs are typical of this region.
Superb drawing through out, with excellent colour, this is a rug of very fine weave.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display.
