Description
Size: 6ft 10in x 4ft 3in (208 x 129cm).Antique South West Persian Kashkuli Qashqai rug, with single ivory medallion design, outstanding drawing and colour. The medallion is surrounded by a field filled with boteh. Note the beautifully drawn main border.
Circa 1880.
The rug is very fine with very detailed drawing, the colours are of the highest possible quality.
The rug is in good condition with medium pile and slight even wear, original checkerboard end finish at both ends.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
A superb collectible display item, tribal weaving of the highest order.
