Size: 4ft 10in x 4ft 0in (147 x 122cm).Antique Caucasian rug with 'Lesghi star' design.
late 19th century
A excellent Caucasian rug with a single vertical row of 3 'Lesghi Stars', Superb colour and fine Shirvan like weave. The yellow border contrasts well with the dark indigo field. A good small rug of almost square shape. Note the many small stars in the field.
Excellent condition, Slight even wear with short even pile.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
