Description
Size: 4ft 5in x 3ft 5in (134 x 105cm).Antique Turkish Milas prayer rug of classic design with superb soft wool and small size.
2nd half 19th century.
The rug has very soft wool and a very floppy handle. The rug is beautifully drawn with superb pastel colours through out. The border design is very attractive.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile, there are a few old repairs and both ends have been re-woven at some time in the life of the rug.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for light domestic use. but would make a superb wall hanging.
