Size: 3ft 9in x 3ft 7in (114 x 108cm).Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of excellent design and colour, the rug is of a rich red/brown colour.
Circa 1900.
The rug has a traditional Tekke gul design with 3 rows of 5 guls. These are often referred to as 'dowry' rugs.
The rug is of a very fine weave with a very soft feel.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
