Size: 5ft 10in x 3ft 10in (178 x 117cm).Old Afghan village rug of traditional design with three large guls, the rug is of a pleasing red colour with dark indigo blue, the overall palette is very soft and warm. The wool has a wonderful lustre and is very soft.
Circa 1920.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile. The rug retains the original kilim end finishes at both ends. The rug has a very soft floppy handle
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
