Description
Size: 4ft 4in x 2ft 9in (132 x 83cm).Old Afghan prayer rug of traditional village tree of life design.
Circa 1920.
The rug is of typical tree of life design in indigo blue on a soft red ground.
The rug is in good condition with slight wear and good pile.
The rug is of medium weave with a floppy handle, both ends retain the original end finishes. The wool is very soft and glossy.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use and is suitable for wall hanging.
