Description
Size: 16ft 9in x 11ft 6in (510 x 350cm).An outstanding carpet of large size by Afghan Ersari weavers from North Afghanistan, Kunduz region.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has three rows of eight large Sulayman type guls, the carpet has a very good soft rose madder colour with the design in shades of indigo blue.
The carpet is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
