Size: 7ft 10in x 5ft 1in (240 x 154cm).Old Afghan rug with Ersari Turkmen ensi (door hanging) inspired design.
Circa 1920.
This is a good Afghan village rug, with good weave and outstanding colour.
The good size of the rug make this a wonderful furnishing rug. The rich red ground colour has a very warm feel.
The rug is in good condition with very slight wear and full pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use.
