Description
Size: 6ft 10in x 4ft 5in (208 x 134cm).Antique Afghan village rug of traditional Ersari Turkmen design, the rug has three rows of nine large Afghan guls.
Circa 1900.
The rug is an excellent colour with a soft burnt orange field dyed with a mixture of madder and walnut shells. The guls have a wonderful light indigo blue in them.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
