Size:13ft 11in x 9ft 11in (425 x 300cm).Old Persian Isfahan carpet, of superb classic all over design with outstanding colours.
Circa 1950.
The carpet is of very fine weave with tight fine pile of lambs wool on a very fine silk foundation. The carpet has a velvet like feel.
The carpet has a floral all over design and has amazing detail, it is an outstanding example of type. This is a carpet of the highest quality and would grace any room.
The colours are superb, with an ivory colour ground with the design in beautiful clear colours. The rich red border contrasts well with the ivory ground.
The carpet is in excellent condition with no wear and full pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
