Description
Size: 14ft 1in x 10ft 1in (430 x 308cm).Antique Kashan carpet of classic medallion design and outstanding colour.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has a large elongated central medallion on a red ground, with a floral spray design in reds, blues and ivory, with highlights in soft yellows, greens and pinks.
The border is an outstanding feature of this carpet being of large scale with a flowing design on a deep indigo blue ground.
The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.
The carpet is suitable for heavy domestic use such as a dining or living room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
