Description
Size: 12ft 6in x 7ft 6in (380 x 229cm).Antique Kizyl Ayak Ersari Turkmen main carpet with the tradition Kizil Ayak gul design; there are three rows of nine large guls.
Circa 1880.
The carpet has a soft warm red ground colour with some very nice blues and blue greens. The border is a very well drawn example of the bird head design.
The carpet is in excellent condition with even wear with medium pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
