Description
Size: 8ft 2in x 5ft 1in (248 x 154cm).A very good Antique Tribal Qashqai rug, triple linked medallion design with excellent colour.
Late 19th century.
A classic Qashqai tribal rug with three medallions, the rug is covered with tribal design elements. There are many very well drawn animals. The rug retains its original checkerboard finishes at both ends. The multiple borders are of classic Qashqai design.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile, the rug is of fine weave with good wool, the rug has a nice floppy handle in the hand.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
