Description
Size: 4ft 9in x 3ft 0in (145 x 91cm).Antique Ersari Turkmen 9 gul chuval with good colour. The elem design is a stylised tree design.
Circa 1900.
Chuval are storage bags used by the nomads to transport goods, the faces are piled so make very good small rugs. This example originates from the border region of Northern Afghanistan and Southern Turkmenistan.
Slight even wear with good pile.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
