Size: 8ft 2in x 4ft 3in (250 x 130cm).A good Chodor Turkmen main carpet of small size with a scarce design
Circa 1880.
The carpet is well drawn with excellent colour, the all over design is small compartments containing Turkmen elements, the elem end panels have a chevron design.
The carpet is in good condition with even wear and medium pile, there are a few scattered old repairs and some corrosion to the dyes.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
