Description
Size: 10ft 6in x 7ft 9in (320 x 237cm).Antique Ersari Turkmen main carpet from Northern Afghanistan.
Circa 1880.
This fine carpet has three rows of seven large guls on a soft rose madder field. The guls are well drawn with some good colours including blues and greens. The carpet retains the original kilim end finishes at both ends.
The carpet is in good condition with even wear and medium pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a dining room or a living room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
