Description
Size: 6ft 4in x 5ft 3in (193 x 159cm).Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of traditional design and excellent colour, the rug is of a medium madder red colour.
Circa 1900.
The rug has a traditional Tekke gul design with 3 rows of 10 guls. The rug is of a useful size, wider and closer to a square than is normally found.
The rug is of a fine weave with excellent soft wool.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
