Description
Size: 12ft 11in x 3ft 11in (394 x 120cm).Antique South Caucasian Kurdish or Shahsavan runner, with all over boteh and shrub design.
Circa 1880.
The indigo field is filled with large boteh, shrubs, flowers and tribal design elements. The soft pastel colours really stand out against the dark indigo blue field.
The wide multiple borders are beautifully drawn and give the runner a very dramatic feel.
The runner is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
The runner is suitable for normal domestic use.
