Description
Size: 11ft 1in x 8ft 6in (337 x 260cm).Antique Heriz carpet with a very well-drawn large medallion and excellent clear soft colours.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has a central medallion of traditional Heriz design, the ground colour is a superb madder red and the shades of indigo blue stand out well against it. The spandrels are a beautiful soft blue with hints of green. The well drawn border frames the carpet well.
A designers dream carpet for that timeless country house look.
The Carpet is in good condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a living or dining room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
