Description
Size: 5ft 2in x 3ft 10in (158 x 116cm).Old Afghan village rug of traditional Turkmen style design with Tekke guls.
Circa 1920/30.
The rug has a clear madder red colour with three rows of eight Tekke guls. The border is the Turkmen stars in octagon design.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use such as an entrance hall or living room.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
