Size: 4ft 6in x 2ft 11in (137 x 89cm).Old Afghan prayer rug with a Turkmen inspired design to the field.
Circa 1920.
A charming small village prayer rug with five Turkmen inspired guls to the field, the rug has complete kilims at both ends which are decorated in weft work.
The rug is woven with very soft wool.
A charming little prayer rug.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
