Description
Size: 4ft 9in x 3ft 7in (144 x 110cm).Antique Caucasian Derbent rug of boteh design and small square size.
Circa 1900.
The rug is of an all over repeat design of large boteh on a indigo blue ground, note how the rows of boteh face in opposing directions.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile, as is typical with Derbent rugs, the wool is very soft and glossy.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
