Circa 1900/20.
A good example of a Konya village prayer rug with a classic design, the rug has a clear red field with an interesting use of green above the mihrab. The border is well drawn and of interesting design.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use or would make a good display item as a wall hanging.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
