Description
Size: 5ft 5in x 3ft 7in (166 x 110cm).Antique Western Anatolian Milas rug of scarce design with wonderful colour.
Circa 1890.
This Milas rug is of a scarce design with multiple borders and a single central panel in green with a prayer niche at the top. The rug has drawing of a very high quality along with outstanding colour.
The rug is in good condition with slight even wear and good pile, the rug has a few old repairs that are shown in detail in the images. The rug retains the original kilim end finishes and the braided fringe finish at the top end.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for light domestic use. but would make a superb wall hanging.
