Description
Size: 12ft 4in x 8ft 8in (375 x 265cm).Antique Heriz carpet with a very well-drawn and striking large medallion on a madder red field.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has a large central medallion of traditional Heriz design with yellow highlights, the ground colour is a superb madder red with the open floral spray design in pastel colours. The spandrels are in ivory with soft blue and green. The indigo blue classic floral Heriz border frames the carpet well.
A superb designers carpet for that timeless country house look.
The Carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and good pile.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a living or dining room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
