Description
Size: 9ft 1in x 2ft 9in (277 x 84cm).Antique Baluch runner with fine all over shrub design.
Circa 1890.
An interesting runner of scarce type with Timuri type weave, the runner has a fine all over shrub design in a rich colour palette of madder shades with indigo blue. The colour palette and design is typical of Timuri work. Note the kilim end finishes at both ends.
The runner is in good condition with even wear and medium pile.
The runner is suitable for normal domestic use.
The runner has been hand washed and is ready for use.
