Size: 4ft 6in x 3ft 9in (138 x 114cm).Antique Afghan village rug of traditional Ersari Turkmen design of small square size.
Circa 1920.
The rug has 2 rows of 4 very large Ersari Turkmen guls, the rug has a warm madder red ground, The border is of a traditional Afghan Turkmen design.
The rug is in excellent condition with some very slight wear and full pile. The wool on this rug is superb, very soft.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
