Size: 3ft 8in x 2ft 6in (113 x 74cm).Antique Yomut Turkmen nine gul chuval complete with plain weave back.
Circa 1900.
The chuval is well drawn with a rich colour palette, the elem panel at the base is very decorative. Chuval are storage bags that were used by the Turkmen nomads.
The chuval is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. It is good to see the plain ivory back still attached as these are often removed.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
