Size: 8ft 1in x 5ft 1in (246 x 155cm).A good Antique Tribal Qashqai rug, triple linked medallion design with soft colours.
Circa 1880.
A classic Qashqai tribal rug with three medallions each containing a version of the Qashqai tribal emblem, the rug is covered with tribal design elements. There are many small animals, birds and flowers. The four half medallions on each side give the rug s feeling of movement. The rug retains the checkerboard finishes at both ends.
The rug is in fair condition with even wear heavier in places with low pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display, the rug is suitable for light domestic use. The rug is perfect for creating an old country house lived with look.
