Description
Size: 4ft 5in x 2ft 6in (135 x 76cm).Antique Baluch rug with camel ground and lotus leaf design.
Circa 1900.
This small Baluch rug has a very well drawn lotus leaf design on a ground of camel wool. The main border is stars on a madder red ground.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile. There is some corrosion to the olive browns, the rug retains some of the original kilim end finishes at both ends.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display, the rug is suitable for light domestic use.
