Size: 5ft 8in x 3ft 8in (172 x 112cm).Antique Caucasian rug of small size with repeat boteh design.
Circa 1890.
An attractive small rug with a medium blue field filled with rows of small boteh. The inner border has an ivory ground with a linked star design, the main border is in a warm madder red with floral rosettes. A charming small rug with excellent colour.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and low pile. There are some old re-piled areas that are well blended.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
