Size: 9ft 4in x 5ft 5in (285 x 164cm).Antique Baluch rug, with traditional design often found in both Timuri and Yaqub Khani weavings.
Circa 1900.
A very nice Baluch rug, with a very pleasing detailed compartment design.
Superb wool quality, excellent soft red field colour, with good blues and ivory highlights.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile, slightly lower in a few places, very soft wool with some corrosion to the browns as one would expect. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
