Size: 8ft 0in x 5ft 6in (245 x 168cm).Antique Yomut Turkmen rug of classic design with octagonal guls.
Circa 1900
The rug has a warm red colour with three full rows of seven octagonal turreted guls, the border is of a classic Yomut Turkmen star design with large elem panels at both ends. A good example of type, with fine weave.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
