Size: 1ft 5in x 1ft 1in (44 x 32cm). Face size.Antique tribal chanteh (vanity bag) with plain weave back, by the Afshar Tribe.
Circa 1900.
A good small tribal chanteh bag with original plain weave back. The face of the bag has a very interesting tribal design on it, the bag has been opened down the sides to display the plain weave back.
The bag is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile, there are no repairs.
The bag has been hand washed and is ready for display.
