Size: 11ft 4in x 4ft 11in. (345 x 150cm)Vintage Turkish Kazak rug from the Kars region of eastern Turkey. Caucasian Seichur design with St. Andrews cross.
About 40 years old.
The rug has the well known St. Andrews cross design on a dark blue ground; which is covered with small traditional tribal devices. The border is of the oak leaf design on an ivory ground. The rug is of a traditional size known as a 'kelleh', this is a wide runner.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile. The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use.
Hand washed and ready for use.
