Size: 6ft 11in x 3ft 8in (210 x 113cm).Antique Afghan village rug of traditional design with four large Ersari Turkmen guls, the rug is of a pleasing madder red colour with dark indigo blue, the overall palette is soft and warm. The wool has a wonderful lustre and is very soft.
Circa 1900/20.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile. The rug retains the original kilim end finishes at both ends. The rug has a very soft feel.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
