Size: 3ft 0in x 1ft 2in (92 x 35cm) face size.Antique Yomut Turkmen torba with well drawn 'ashik' gul design.
Circa 1880.
A good Yomut torba with a soft colour palette and good soft wool. The torba has diagonal rows of aishk guls to the face, on a soft brown ground. The torba retains its original plain weave back which has been opened for display.
The torba is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile.
