Description
Size: 6ft 5in x 4ft 2in (195 x 126cm).Antique Uzbek silk ikat panel of traditional design.
Circa 1900 or earlier.
The panel of traditional silk ikat from the Bukhara region; the panel is in semi silk adras technique (silk warps and cotton wefts).
The ikat panel has been re-backed backed with later printed cotton cloth.
The condition is excellent with only very slight signs of use.
This would make an excellent wall hanging or cover.
