Description
Size: 15ft 6in x 11ft 9in (473x 358cm).Old Turkish Hereke carpet, wool pile on a wool foundation with a scarce ivory coloured ground.
Circa 1960.
The carpet is beautifully drawn with an all floral spray design in soft pastel colours on a ivory coloured ground. The carpet is framed by a beautifully drawn border. The carpet is signed and numbered to the top righthand corner.
The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good full pile.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. This is a good furnishing quality carpet of large room size.
