Description
Size: 6ft 4in x 4ft 8in (195 x 143cm).Old Afghan village rug woven in the style of a traditional Ensi or Hatchli door hanging, but very unusual due to the inclusion of small aircraft in the design, this could be a very scarce type of war rug woven during the Russian invasion during the 1980’s.
Circa 1980.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The rug is of quite fine weave and has very good wool.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
