Size: 5ft 2in x 3ft 9in (157 x 115cm).Antique Tekke Turkmen ‘dip khali’ rug of small size.
Circa 1900.
These are considered to be ‘half size’ rugs; half the length and half the width of a main carpet.
This example has 3 rows of 6 Tekke guls with very well drawn minor guls.
The rug has an excellent soft red / brown colour.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
