Size: 3ft 1in x 3ft 0in (92 x 90cm).Antique Turkish Bergama rug of small square size, the rug has an interesting checker board design with squares containing stars and two birds.
4th quarter 19th century.
The border is of a fine checker board design giving the rug a very contemporary feel.
The rug retains original kilim at both ends.
The rug has undergone some expert restoration in Turkey.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
