Description
Size: 1ft 10in x 1ft 1Oin (55 x 55cm).Antique Persian tribal Qashqai bag face of fine weave and good colour with plain weave back.
Circa 1900.
The bag face is very well drawn with a banded design. The coulurs are superb and include a soft green.
The design is classic Qashqai, with a very well drawn traditional border. This is a Qashqai bag face of the highest order.
The bag face is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile. Note the original decorative closing panel at the top of the bag face. The bag still has its original plainweave back with closing loops at the top.
The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display.
