Description
Size: 6ft 4in x 4ft 8in (192 x 142cm).A very good example of Persian Bakhtiari village weaving, with unusual design and superb colours.
Circa 1900/20.
The rug has an almost abstract design in pastel colours on a dark indigo ground. The light indigo blue border is really outstanding.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
